Colts Fans Snap Up Tickets, Travel Packages
Fans Urged To Be Careful Buying Tickets

INDIANAPOLIS -- Tickets and travel plans were on the minds of many Colts fans Monday after the team secured a spot in the Super Bowl.Already, Miami ticket offers and travel packages are popping up across the Internet, 6News' Renee Jameson reported.More: Super Bowl Special SectionBut the team is warning fans to beware of potential scams."Every year at the Super Bowl there are counterfeit tickets, so you have to be very, very cautious," said Larry Hall, Colts vice president of ticket operations and guest services.Colts sponsor PrimeSport is offering package deals including airfare, a three-night hotel stay and game tickets for $4,000 and up on its Web site, while AAA Travel in Indianapolis is selling packages starting at $3,999."The game ticket presently is in the end zone at the starting package prices, but there are options to upgrade," said Vice President of Travel Services Suzanne DeCellis. "The sky's the limit."She urged fans who want to go to the big game not to wait too long, and consider flying into a nearby city to save money."Space on air for Miami-Ft. Lauderdale is relatively limited. It's available, but you're going to be paying a little bit higher price then had you booked earlier," she said.It will be a repeat trip to Miami for some diehard fans. The Colts defeated the Chicago Bears there in 2007.
