Man Fatally Shot In Fight At City Park
Police Question Witnesses

INDIANAPOLIS -- A gunman shot an 18-year-old man multiple times in a city park on Indianapolis' east side Sunday night, killing the teen.Police said shots were fired after a fight involving several people at Highland Park, at Marlowe and Highland avenues, just after 8:30 p.m.The victim, whose name wasn't immediately released, died after he was taken to Wishard Memorial Hospital.
Police interviewed several witnesses to try to find out more information about the shooter."The suspect or suspects fled after the shooting. No description was immediately available," said Indianapolis police Sgt. Paul Thompson.Police asked anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 317-262-TIPS.
