Police: Dispute Among Gang Members Led To Killings
A man was arrested late Sunday in the slayings of two men who were found fatally shot in a home on Indianapolis' north side earlier in the day.Police said Saul Blanco, 21, was involved in a dispute with fellow gang members that led to the killings of Raymond Martir, 42, and James Ferguson, 30.Video:
Neighbors Recount Previous Trouble At HomeThe shooting happened before 11 a.m. in the 9100 block of Central Avenue."The bodies were discovered by one of the victim's children. Several children were believed to be in the residence when the shooting occurred," Thompson said. "They range from 10 to 19."Neighbors told 6News that there had been prior incidents at the home."It's related to an incident that happened months ago," said Gerardo Dimas. "I think he declared something against those people, so we think it's a payback.""They had a problem there four or five months ago where the cops had to be called," said neighbor Pete Hannin. "I heard there were gunshots … which freaked us out."Police said the investigation is ongoing.
