Police: 18-Year-Old Killed In Gang-Related Fight

INDIANAPOLIS -- A 17-year-old boy was arrested on Tuesday in connection with the shooting death of an 18-year-old on Indianapolis' east side.Police said shots were fired after a fight involving several people at Highland Park, at Marlowe and Highland avenues, just after 8:30 p.m. on Sunday.Brett Reinert, 18, died after he was taken to Wishard Memorial Hospital.A 17-year-old boy, whose name was not released, was arrested early Tuesday morning in connection with the shooting.The boy was expected to be waived to adult court on Wednesday.Sgt. Paul Thompson said the fight was gang-related.
