At least 2 inches is expected to already be on the ground by 7 a.m. Tuesday, complicating the morning commute in many places, said 6News' Chief Meteorologist Kevin Gregory.

Two low-pressure systems will begin affecting Indiana's weather beginning late Monday night, when snow will begin overspreading the region from west to east.

Snow is expected to continue, heavy at times, through the day on Tuesday, with snow still possible into the day on Wednesday.
