INDIANAPOLIS -- More than 60 teachers in Decatur Township could lose their jobs in a cost-cutting move.The Metropolitan School District of Decatur Township notified 62 teachers by letter on Friday that their contracts may not be renewed, 6News' Kara Kenney reported.A district representative told Kenney that, by contract, the school system would lay off teachers with the least seniority first.The district is waiting to see how many teachers retire before determining exactly how many will lose their jobs.
