Mexican Bus Rolls Into Median

ATASCOSA COUNTY, Texas -- The crash of a Mexican tour bus killed two people and injured 18 people Tuesday morning in Texas, KSAT-TV in San Antonio reported.Tommy Cavazos, a public communications officer with the Texas Department of Public Safety, said that the Americanos tour bus rolled off Interstate 37 at 9:45 a.m.Two people were airlifted to Brooke Army Medical Center and two were airlifted to University Hospital in San Antonio.Mark Baldon, who came upon the crash about 15 minutes after it happened, told KSAT that the bus was on its side in the median and that he saw a few people on the ground and that it appeared there were several young people, possibly spring breakers, walking around."(The) bus was on its side and it was smoldering," Baldon said.
