Girl: Man Exposed Himself On Walk Home From School
Student Describes Work Truck Involved In Incident

CARMEL, Ind. -- A 12-year-old girl told police that a man in a pickup truck honked his horn and exposed himself as she walked home from school Wednesday afternoon.Police were called to Hazlewood Court several hours after the alleged incident, which happened at about 3:30 p.m.The girl told officers that after she got off at a bus stop and started walking home, a man in a white pickup truck pulled up next to her.The driver honked the truck's horn, prompting her to look toward the truck, when she noticed the driver was fondling himself, the girl told police."When she noticed what the suspect was doing, she turned and ran away," said Carmel police Lt. Jeff Horner.The girl was unable to give a good description of the man. She said he was in a work truck with an open bed and a ladder rack that contained a green ladder."She also stated that there was green writing on one side of the truck," Horner said. "She was not certain if the writing was on the driver side or passenger side."Police asked anyone with information to call them at 317-571-2500.
