Attorney Selected For Plowman's Old Council Seat
Aaron Freeman Chosen To Represent Franklin Township District

INDIANAPOLIS -- Indianapolis attorney Aaron Freeman was selected Saturday to replace former City-County Council member Lincoln Plowman, who resigned earlier this month amid a federal investigation.Republicans chose Freeman over four other hopefuls for the District 25 seat in Franklin Township.Freeman said he plans to make road improvement a top priority."We have some pretty poor roads out here," he said. "We need to tackle some of those things. It's going to be a big challenge, but I think I'm up for it."Freeman, who is president of the GOP Club in Franklin Township, and his wife are expecting their first child next month.
