Two A 17-year-old boys were killed in a crash in southern Indiana early Sunday morning.

Indiana State Police Sgt. Noel Houze said the crash happened at about 2 a.m. on U.S. 31 in Seymour.

Todd Schurman and Zach Grubb, both 17 and of Seymour, were riding on a bicycle southbound on 31 about a half-mile south of U.S. 50 when a southbound pickup truck struck the bicycle.

Investigators think the bike was in the middle of the southbound lane.

Schurman was pronounced dead at the scene. Grubb was taken by medical helicopter to Methodist Hospital, where he died Monday morning.

The driver of the pickup truck was not injured.
