2 Arrested In Interstate Brick-Throwing Incidents
Police: Man, Boy Tossed Bricks Onto I-74

INDIANAPOLIS -- Two people were arrested early Thursday morning after police said they threw bricks onto Interstate 74 in Marion County.The incident happened between Post Road and Interstate 465 on Indianapolis' southeast side.Police said Derek Schilling, 21, of Indianapolis and a 16-year-old boy threw bricks into traffic from the side of the road.Some tractor-trailer drivers reported minor damage to their rigs, and ISP said a couple of cars' tires were flattened when they struck brick debris.Schilling and the boy were both charged with criminal mischief and overpass mischief.
