Statement From Family Of Kahdir Al Khattab
The following statement was released to the media Saturday by the family of Kahdir Al Khattab.
- We wish to express our sincere condolences to the family of James Davis during this difficult time for his tragic death. He was a father, husband and a strong black man who served as a very positive role model in our great city. He surrendered his life without cause the hands of one of our community members. We sincerely regret and apologize to the family of James Davis, his friends and coworkers, the students and staff of Butler University and all affected by these tragic events.We see this unprovoked violence destroying families and the fiber of our community and is exemplified by its impact on the families of James Davis and Khadr Al-Khattab. We pray for the souls of Davis who died unjustly and Al-Khattab who was mentally ill.
