Man Arrested On Murder Charge In Case Of Missing Girl
Police: Search For 12-Year-Old Continues

Editor's note: For an update to this story, click on this link. INDIANAPOLIS -- Police on Wednesday said they arrested a man on a preliminary charge of murder in connection with the Dec. 24 disappearance of a 12-year-old Indianapolis girl.
Jeffrey Voss, 39, was arrested in connection with the disappearance of Christina Tedder. Though Voss faces a murder charge, the Marion County Sheriff's Department said investigators don't know whether Christina -- who hasn't been found -- is dead.At a press conference Wednesday night, police said Voss knew Christina's family, but authorities declined to say what led them to arrest him, RTV6's Jennifer Carmack reported.A source familiar with the investigation said Wednesday that investigators found blood, hair and duct tape at the home of a man who is familiar with the girl's family, RTV6's Jack Rinehart reported.Police said Christina was last seen by her brother between 8 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Christmas Eve when she left their home at the Eastgate Terrace Apartments to go to a nearby Shell gas station at 10th Street and Shadeland Avenue.
