Two glass panels at a memorial to Medal of Honor recipients were broken. Someone also spray-painted obscene words about America, President Bush and Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels under a bridge along the canal, RTV6 reported.

The graffiti included spray-paintings of a peace symbol, a heart and an anarchy sign.

The IPALCO Foundation, which pays for the upkeep of the memorial, offered a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrests of whoever caused the damage.
