Colts' Doss Faces Charges Of Firing Gun In Ohio
24-Year-Old Released On Bond, Awaits Court Appearance

AKRON, Ohio -- Indianapolis Colts safety Mike Doss was arrested Sunday on gun charges. Police said they went to the 300 block of South Main Street in Akron on a report that five or six shots were fired outside a restaurant at about 2:20 a.m. Officers found shell casings in the area and a gun in Doss' vehicle, according to a statement issued by the Akron Police Department.
Doss, 24, faces charges of carrying a concealed weapon, discharging a firearm within city limits, inducing panic and obstructing official business. He posted bond and was released pending a court appearance. Doss, who won a national championship at Ohio State in 2002, played for the Colts for the past two seasons.
