Mold Problem Forces Children Out Of Day Care

Dozens of children may not return to their day-care center until the state determines why mold has invaded their building.

The Day Nursery Association rents space at the government center north in Indianapolis.

After months of dealing with spots growing on classroom walls, the center shut down last week so the state could take care of the mold problem.

124 children have been moved to other day nursery centers in the city. Executive director Carolyn Dederer told RTV6 that she is waiting to hear when the center will reopen.
