Another County Approves Colts Stadium Funding Plan

FRANKLIN, Ind. -- Another county has approved the Colts stadium food and beverage tax-funding plan.The Johnson County council joined the growing bandwagon of supporters Wednesday night.Council members voted 6-1 in favor of the 1 percent tax, which will help pay for a new Colts stadium and expanded convention center.Half of the money collected will go to the stadium project. Half stays in Johnson County for local projects.Five counties now support the tax package. Hamilton, Hendricks and Morgan counties are scheduled to vote next week.
