Supposed Jesus, Mary Images Appear On Trees

EAST CHICAGO, Ind. -- Some people in East Chicago believe the images of Jesus and Mary have appeared on two neighborhood trees.

Onlookers say they can see an image of Jesus holding his hands together and looking down.

A tree to its right has an image that some believe is of the Virgin Mary looking over at her son, Jesus.

Many people are going to the location to check it out for themselves.

"Me and my boyfriend's mother, we were having a conversation about our loved ones who had passed on, and I was thinking about my grandfather, and I looked up and I saw it right there," Michelle Matmores said.

Neighbors said the images appear only at night or during sunset.
