Four dogs believed to be responsible for a fatal attack in Morgan County have been put to death.

The dogs were being held at the humane society in Martinsville pending a court order to have them put down.

Boyd Fiscus, 83, was found dead in a backyard pond at his Camby home July 1. Police don't know why the dogs attacked him.

The Morgan County prosecutor is considering filing charges against Fiscus' next door neighbors, who owned the dogs.
