"The complainant indicated that he had seen one individual dangling from the roof by a rope," Bloomington police Capt. Joe Qualters said. The center member asked the man what he was doing on the roof, but the man fled without answering, police said.Other people in the mosque's parking lot fled in a vehicle, Qualters said. The incident is a concern in part because someone threw a Molotov cocktail through one of the mosque's windows in July, police said. No one was hurt in the July incident, which is still being investigated. On Saturday, police searched the roof as a precaution."They did not find any kind of an article that had been placed on the roof, (or) any type of a device or anything that would indicate to them that there was any type of harm that was going to be done to the mosque," Qualters said.Bloomington police have increased patrols around the center, RTV6's Ben Morriston reported.
