Police say Chad McClellan operates Hoosier Hotties.

Prostitution Investigation Leads To 'Hoosier Hotties' Arrest

POSTED: 8:21 am EST February 8, 2006

A lengthy investigation has led to the arrest of a man police say operated an escort service as a front for a prostitution ring.

Chad McClellan, 35, of Cicero, operator of the Internet-based escort service called "Hoosier Hotties," faces charges of theft, tax evasion and failure to remit sales tax. Police said further charges were pending.

Several agencies searched two locations Tuesday in connection with an investigation that began more than two years ago.

Police seized business records and computers during the searches. They also seized some of McClellan's personal property items they said were proceeds from illicit activity.

Officials said they are beginning to comb through the seized properties and expect to get copious information to put together a case against McClellan.

Police said they expect Hoosier Hotties employees and clients will cooperate with their investigation and that more arrests are possible.
