70 Indiana Companies Deemed 'Best Place To Work'

The Indiana Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday released a list of 70 companies to be honored with its 2012 "Best Place to Work in Indiana" award.Of this year's honorees, 45 were repeats from 2011, and two companies -- Edward Jones and Katz, Sapper and Miller -- have been on the list in each of the seven years the program existed.The list of employers is compiled through employee surveys. Companies are awarded in categories based on size, with those with fewer than 250 workers separate from those with more than 250 employees. Companies based out-of-state with 15 or more full-time workers in Indiana were also eligible."Best Places to Work in Indiana not only recognizes our states outstanding employers, but also sets a high standard for other Hoosier companies by encouraging them to realize the importance of evaluating their own workplace," Chamber President Kevin Brinegar said in a news release.Rankings for the companies will be released at an awards dinner in Indianapolis on May 3.Here's the list of list of employers that received recognition:
