Police: Woman Seduced, Stole From 80-Year-Old

POSTED: 8:47 pm EST February 14, 2006

Police last week arrested a woman accused of stealing from an 80-year-old man she had seduced.

Authorities said this is the fourth time Deanna Blankenship, 26, has been accused of manipulating an older man and then stealing from him.

Kokomo police said Blankenship was out on bond in connection with a 2004 theft case when she was arrested Friday. The 2004 case involved a 65-year-old man, authorities said.

During an interview at the Howard County Jail, Blankenship blamed a drug addiction for her actions and said she is remorseful.

""This situation got really, really bad really, really fast," she told 6News' Tanya Spencer.
