Youth Minister Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Teen

INDIANAPOLIS -- An Indianapolis youth minister was arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting a teenage boy who was participating in an overnight church program, 6News' Derrik Thomas reported Wednesday.

Tyree Coleman, 27, is accused of assaulting the boy at Temple of Refuge church, where that boy and others were staying overnight as part of a youth program run by Coleman, police said.

The boy's mother told 6News that he had called her in the middle of the night to say he had been assaulted.

Coleman faces charges of criminal deviate conduct and sexual misconduct with a minor.
