Cheerleaders Kicked Off Squad After Alleged Hazing

LAWRENCE, Ind. -- Six Lawrence North High School cheerleaders who were suspended from school last fall in an alleged drinking incident have now been dismissed from the team for an alleged hazing incident.Officials said pictures that were posted on the Internet showed the senior cheerleaders abusing the freshman squad. Investigators said the hazing involved smashing food on the younger girls and then spraying a water hose on them.Last October, the cheerleaders were accused of getting drunk before the homecoming game.
The girls got a 10-day suspension from school and were kicked off the squad for the remainder of the football season.The girls have now been kicked off the squad for a year.
