The latest release for one Indiana musician isn't exactly helping his popularity.

Henry Lee Summer, 55, was released from the Marion County Jail Saturday afternoon following his arrest on several charges on Friday, 6News' Jennifer Carmack reported.

Investigators said Summer, whose legal name is Henry Lee Swartz, was arrested after a call to police at about 6:30 p.m. Friday.

Police said Summer was apprehended in the Country Woods Estates, where residents said they saw him crash into four parked cars before going to the back of the mobile home park.

Summer doesn't live in the area, but had been seen in the neighborhood before, residents said.

Witnesses said Summer appeared calm as he stood outside of a trailer after the incident until deputies arrived. Witnesses told 6News that he then tried to take off.

"(We apprehended him) with the assistance of a resident, who was able to control him. However, he did fight actively with the officer, and he was tazed during the incident," said Marion County sheriff's Maj. Larry Jahnke.

Summer faces charges of driving while intoxicated, leaving the scene of a traffic accident and resisting arrest.

Summer, a native of Brazil, Ind., scored a pair of Top 20 hits on the pop charts in the late '80's with "I Wish I Had A Girl" and "Hey Baby." He has toured as a musician since the early '80s.
