LAS VEGAS -- Allegiant Airlines Flight #500 to Indianapolis returned to Las Vegas after officials say the front right tire blew out during takeoff.

The plane, which was carrying 202 passengers and seven crew members, landed safely at McCarran International Airport around 10:57 a.m. on Wednesday.

No fire or injuries were reported.

A spokeswoman for Allegiant says the plane was able to taxi to a gate under its own power.

Plans were being made to replace the aircraft to get the passengers to Indianapolis.

The original flight was scheduled to arrive at 4:45 p.m.
