Burglars hit 11 businesses in one stop at Indianapolis office building

Police hope surveillance video leads to culprit

INDIANAPOLIS - Burglars made off with computers and other loot from at least 11 different businesses in a single office building overnight.

The three-story office complex is visible from Allisonville Road and 86th Street, just north of Interstate 465.

Police arrived Monday morning when tenants began discovering their offices had been burglarized.

Officers say a glass door was smashed out, and once the crooks were inside the building, they broke the glass on individual office doors to take their pick of what to steal.

Taylor University MBA, Equifax, Studio 3 Design, The Meridian Group, Horizon CPA Services and a business called Best Buddies Indiana were among the victims still tallying their losses.

Several computers were reported missing from a firm called DB Services, but police said some of the other businesses were unsure what, if anything, might have been stolen.

Police said surveillance cameras were installed at the building, so they were hoping it would aid in tracking down the burglars.
