HANCOCK COUNTY, Ind. -- A former Mt. Vernon substitute teacher accused of having sex with students wants her bail reduced so she can get out of the Hancock County jail.

Kisha Nuckols filed a motion Thursday to reduce her $20,000 cash bond, saying she poses no flight risk and no physical threat to the community.
A judge has not yet ruled on the motion, and Hancock County prosecutor Brent Eaton told Call 6 Investigates their office will likely object to a bond reduction.
Nuckols, previously a teacher's aide/substitute teacher at the middle school, allegedly sent inappropriate photographs to a male student at the high school.
The student told investigators he and Nuckols had sex at least 10 times at her residence, including when her children and husband were in the home.
Court records show her husband filed for divorce on April 12, just four days after Nuckols was booked into the county jail.
In an interview with police, Nuckols reportedly admitted to having sex with the student and that she "knew that the 'relationship' was wrong."
Nuckols also reportedly admitted to having an inappropriate relationship with at least one other current Mt. Vernon Schools student and at least four other previous students.
Police then interviewed another other current Mt. Vernon Schools student alleged to have had an inappropriate relationship with Nuckols.
The student told police he and Nuckols had oral sex one time, but that afterward he felt it was wrong and hadn't had further contact with her.
Principal Scott Shipley is also facing a criminal charge for failing to report allegations surrounding Nuckols in a timely fashion.
Shipley said he didn’t feel any students were in imminent danger due to school not being in session for spring break.
Shipley has not been arrested, but is due in court on May 18.
