Plainfield woman, 70, targeted in home improvement scam

PLAINFIELD, Ind. -- Plainfield police released surveillance video Wednesday of two men suspected of ripping off a 70-year-old woman in a home improvement scam.

Police say the suspects posed as home improvement professionals to take advantage of the woman.

While one of the men was outside talking to the woman at her home, police say the other went through her house and stole credit cards.

The men then went to Walmart and charged more than $2,000.
