Police: Officer Accused Of Domestic Violence

A Carmel police officer has been placed on administrative leave after he was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence Saturday, police said.

Detective Brad Hedrick was arrested when officers were dispatched to his home on a domestic violence call, said Lt. Jeff Horner.

Police did not release any information about the incident or who it involved.

Hedrick was arrested and preliminarily charged with domestic violence. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail.

Horner said that Hedrick was placed on administrative leave with pay pending an investigation.
