INDIANAPOLIS – A man was found shot to death and a woman was found injured on Indy’s northeast side Sunday morning.
Officers with IMPD said they found a woman shot in the arm and an unresponsive man, with at least one gunshot wound, in a home in the 2900 block of Eastern Ave around 6 a.m.

The man was pronounced dead on scene by medical personnel and the woman was transported to Eskenazi Hospital.
The man was later identified as 60-year-old Derann Alfonzo. The woman is 84-year-old Helen Lane.
