INDIANAPOLIS – The death of a 1-month-old boy was ruled a homicide Wednesday.

Lance Findley,34, and Jessica Stultz, 20, were charged with neglect of a dependent resulting in death after their son Lamont Findley died in January.

Police arrived at the couple’s home on reports that their son was not breathing. He was later pronounced dead at Riley Children’s Hospital.

Doctors said the infant suffered dehydration and malnutrition due to neglect.

Trial for the parents is set for September 25.
