INDIANAPOLIS -- Two high-speed police chases ended within blocks of each other early Friday morning.
The first chase ended in the 2200 block of E. 34th Street.
Police say a man in a black Toyota ditched the car around there and ran into a house, where he knew people inside.
Police found drugs in the Toyota.
Shortly after the first chase ended, another ended a few blocks away at E. 34th Street and Wallace Avenue. The chase started when officers were called to a report of shots fired near the intersection of 16th Street and Emerson Avenue.
When police arrived, one man took off. The driver eventually ditched his car and was taken into custody.
Nobody was hurt in either chase.
