INDIANAPOLIS – A bicyclist was killed when they were struck by a vehicle Monday afternoon on the city’s west side.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officials said the incident happened near Tibbs Avenue and Washington Street around 3 p.m. The person was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators are trying to figure out how the accident happened.
Officers did not release any other information, but they do not believe drugs or alcohol were involved.
