Man accused of impregnating 10-year-old girl arrested in Marion

MARION, Ind. -- A man accused of multiple counts of child molestation including impregnating a 10-year-old girl was arrested in Marion Wednesday afternoon. 

Marion Police Department officers arrested Nicholas Deon Thrash, 34, at a home in the 3700 block of South Shelby street just before 4 p.m. without incident. 

Thrash is charged with 10 counts of child molestation and is currently being held at the Grant County Jail on a 500,000 cash only bond.

As part of this investigation, Marion Police say the victim's mother was arrested on two counts of neglect of a dependent.  She's being held in the Grant County Jail on $100,000 bond.
