INDIANAPOLIS -- Two armed men zip-tied and held customers at gun point during an armed robbery at a southeast side Sprint store Tuesday evening.

Witnesses told police two black males entered the store on the 6900 block of South Emerson Avenue around 8:00 p.m. and ordered customers into the back room.

The men zip-tied some of the customers with plastic straps they brought with them.

One of the men who was armed with a gun ordered an employee to give him all of the iPhone 7's and 7+'s, and then told the employee to open the safe and give him all of the money.

The suspects then fled in an unknown direction on foot.

No serious injuries were reported from the robbery. It wasn't clear the total value of merchandise and cash the thieves made off with.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 317-262-TIPS.
