INDIANAPOLIS – Four people are accused of robbing 14 restaurants and stores in the Indianapolis area.

Officers said three men and one juvenile were taken into custody Friday after a robbery occurred at Del Taco restaurant in the 3900 block of N. High School Road.

Jahrell Williams, 18, was seen leaving the restaurant shortly after the incident occurred and began heading toward the 600 block of Somerset Avenue. Police located Williams near a garage where Fernando Degante-Toledo, 20, Eliceo Ortiz-Cabrera,18, and a 17-year-old juvenile were seen running.

The three suspects were found by a police K9, arrested and preliminarily charged with robbery.

Police said the group was believed to be associated with 14 robberies that occurred over a span of three-months. Many of the sites robbed were predominately Mexican-owned restaurants, but also included fast food restaurants, grocery stores and cell phone stores, officers said.
