INDIANAPOLIS -- Vandals shoved a metal pole through a truck's gas tank and spray-painted "f--- Trump" on it at a northeast side entertainment spot Sunday.

The vandalism was discovered around 11:00 a.m. Sunday when the truck's owner returned to the V.I.P. Lounge at 5299 East 38th Street to pick the vehicle up.

The owner told police he found driver's side window was completely broken out and gang symbols of "20," "30," 6"," upside-down ram horns and the words "f--- Trump" had been spray-painted on both sides of the vehicle.

The truck, a 2008 GMC Sierra, also had trash dumped all over the inner cab and a black metal pole jammed into the gas tank.

Indianapolis police said they don't believe the victim was the target of a hate crime.
