INDIANAPOLIS -- Police say they found a baggie of cocaine on a 16-year-old student who threatened students and faculty at the Excel Center with a shiv this week.
Officers were called to the alternative high school Monday afternoon for a report of a student threatening to harm others.
They were eventually able to disarm the 16-year-old student, who had reportedly made a shiv out of a pencil and forcefully resisted officers.
The student was then transported to the Marion County Juvenile Intake Facility, where officers reportedly found a baggie with more than 6 grams of suspected cocaine on him.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
A call to the Excel Center for comment was not immediately returned.
