INDIANAPOLIS -- A man died in the hospital Thursday after being shot on Indianapolis' east side the day before.
The 21-year-old man was shot in the 4600 block of East Pleasant Run Parkway around 8 p.m. Wednesday.
He was taken to Eskenazi Health, where he died the next day.

Homicide detectives are investigating. The man was found just a few blocks away from where a woman was found dead Monday in a house. There is no known connection between the two people.
