Indianapolis police found a man suffering from at least one gunshot wound in the 1700 block of Portage Court around 4 a.m. He was taken to Eskenazi Hospital where he was pronounced dead, officers said.
Homicide detectives believe the shooting was the cause of a disturbance taking place at the home. Two others inside the home were taken in for questioning.
The victim was later identified as Maurice Martinez, 28.
This was the second fatal shooting within a 24-hour period. A man died Friday night on the city's north side after he was found shot around 11:45 p.m.
