GREENWOOD, Ind. – A man was arrested after he lied about his identity and police found meth inside his vehicle during a traffic stop early Sunday morning.

Deputies at the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office discovered a vehicle driving above the speed limit around 1:55 a.m. and pulled over the driver on Woodcreek Drive.

The driver initially identified himself as Mart Vibbert but after police couldn’t find the driver in their database, the driver identified himself as 33-year-old Joseph Vibbert, according to police.

Police said while searching the vehicle, meth weighing 1.5 grams was found.

He was preliminarily charged with possession of paraphernalia, possession of meth, false ID statement and possession of a controlled substance.

Vibbert was taken to the Johnson County Jail.
