INDIANAPOLIS – A man was killed in a double shooting on the city’s west side Wednesday night.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Officer Jim Gillespie said a man and a woman were shot in the 1100 block of Medford Avenue around 8 p.m. The man was pronounced dead at the hospital and the woman was taken to Eskenazi Hospital where she is said to be stable.
Officers said the man and woman knew one another and were fighting outside when they fired shots.
The name of the man was not released by police.
