INDIANAPOLIS -- One person was shot and killed Thursday morning on Indianapolis' east side.
The shooting happened near the intersection of 10th and Rural streets around 4 a.m.
An officer with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said an adult man was killed on the sidewalk. The victim was identified as Sunu Mujahid, 43.
A man was found dead at the same corner last month.

On May 7, a woman waiting on a bus found a man dead in an alley at the intersection. He was identified as Martel "Chicago" Thomas.
