FORTVILLE, Ind. -- A Hancock County man accused of molesting a child has been arrested in Tennessee.

Samuel Cravens, 38, was wanted for sexual assault on a minor earlier this month.

The Fortville Police Department issued a warrant for his arrest on July 4.

Cravens was arrested Sunday by the Beldsoe County Sheriff's office in Tennessee.

Cravens currently has three felony warrants for child molestation out of Hancock County.

"The Fortville Police Department would like to thank the U.S. Marshall's Office, the Beldsoe County Sheriff's Office, Sequatchie County Sheriff's Office, Rhea County Sheriff's Office and all other law enforcement agencies that have assisted in capturing Cravens," said Fortville Police Department Major Patrick Bratton. "The dedication that these men and women have shown in the past week truly exemplifies their professionalism and dedication to the citizens they serve and the law enforcement community."

Cravens is currently being held in Tennessee pending his extradition back to Indiana.
