Mingo Thames: Police seeking man in March homicide

INDIANAPOLIS -- Police are looking for a 48-year-old man as a second suspect in a double homicide that happened in April.

On April 20, officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were called to the 1600 block of Villa Avenue. They found two men dead at the scene. They were later identified as Darrel Miller and James Clark. 

On May 5, Maurice Turentine was arrested in Mooresville, Indiana on two preliminary counts of murder, but police are also looking for Mingo Thames.

Thames is wanted on murder and felon carrying a handgun with a prior felony conviction charges.

Police believe Mingo was with Turentine with the two men were killed on April 20.

Mingo should be considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached.
