MUNCIE, Ind. -- Indiana State Police arrested a Muncie man Tuesday on eight charges of child exploitation stemming from a months-long child pornography investigation.
Detectives from ISP's Pendleton District and the ISP Cyber Crimes Unit began investigating a tip on the dissemination of child pornography in March 2016.
Thirteen months later, that investigation culminated with the arrest of Walter Springston, 28, on eight felony counts of child exploitation.
Springston was taken into custody Tuesday morning and was being held in the Delaware County Jail on a $146,000 bond.
