Parents charged while drinking with infant at Indianapolis bar

INDIANAPOLIS -- A mother and father are facing charges after police say they had their infant with them at an Indianapolis bar while they were drinking. 

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were called to the Wild Beaver Saloon on E. Maryland Street just after midnight Friday. 

According to the incident report, officers arrested Shari Treba, 42, and Michael Trosclair, 45, at the bar. Their infant child was taken to the Riley Hospital for Children for unknown reasons. Police also notified the Department of Child Services and child abuse detectives about the case. 

Treba and Trosclair are both charged with neglect of a dependent and public intoxication. 

The case remains under investigation by the IMPD.
