INDIANAPOLIS -- Police found what they believe to be human skeletal remains near I-465 on Indianapolis' south side.
Police were at the eastbound I-465 ramp to southbound U.S. 31 with a crime lab van. They received a specific tip around 7:45 Monday morning.
Somebody said the remains were found in the wooded area between the Super 8 Motel and the ramp leading to East Street and 31. Two officers found the remains about 75 feet into the wooded area.
Police say it's an area where homeless people have been known to camp out, but there are no homeless camps near the remains.
